County Selection for Lauren
Congratulations to Lauren O’Connor (Year 8) on her selection for the Middlesex County Swim Team that will compete at the Povoa de Varzim International meet in Portugal on 4th and 5th February this year. Lauren has been training very hard over the last year and as a result has achieved a number of medals in recent galas. At a meet in Milton Keynes in November she gained 6 golds, 2 silvers and a bronze medal. Most recently she competed at the Hillingdon Level 1 meet and again amassed a number of medals (2 golds, 5 silvers and a bronze) as well as achieving some amazing personal best times. Lauren managed to knock a massive 2 seconds off her 50m butterfly time and is now ranked 4th in Great Britain for this event.

She works hard and trains hard and is striving to achieve national qualifying times every time she swims!
