GCSE Results Day 2011
Students, staff and parents are celebrating The Harefield Academy’s best GCSE results yet with 48% of students achieving 5A* - C grades with Maths & English, and 88% achieving at least 5A* - C grades

A significant number of successful students live in Harefield and will return to The Academy to study A levels.

Principal, Lynn Gadd, said, “Success in the GCSEs this year means that we have been able to widen our A level offer to include Physics and Chemistry alongside our very popular Sporting Excellence Course.”

Several of The Academy students sat all of their GCSEs early with Sarah Harpoeth sweeping the board at the end of Year 10 with 8A* and 4A grades which is a fantastic achievement.

Further achievement was celebrated by Karley Mann who returned from a very successful swimming competition in time to collect her GCSE results. Karley gained a Bronze in the Junior World Championships in Peru.
