Love Themed PL
On the 10th February, just before Valentine’s day all PL groups were treated to a ‘love-themed PL’. The focus didn’t lie so much in the romance, but gave the students the opportunity to reflect on their relationships with others, as well as considering how they can show kindness and generosity to their peers.
First of all the students watched a presentation that included videos of staff members answering the following questions:
If love was an animal what animal would it be?
If love was a song what song would it be?
If love was a music player what would it be?
With some ideas in mind, every student was then given a Post-it note to write their own ideas about love. Some answered the questions above, and some made up a quotation about love in general. The quality of what was written was very impressive indeed, and some examples are given below.
Each PL group then made a poster using the Post-it notes, and the winning 3 posters (all from Lewis house!) are shown below too.
