Science Week

We are very excited to celebrate Science week at The Harefield Academy.

Each day we are participating in various easy and fun activities during Personalised Learning, where prizes can be won.

Students will be taking part in Active Learning Activities with the focus on Literacy.

The main activity will be the culmination of a Helyco (helicopter/dart combo).

Each PL will get the opportunity to launch their Helyco during the Thursday and Friday’s PL sessions.

The aim is to launch, fly and land the Helyco in the centre of a giant target on the floor of the cafe below.

The Science Faculty has produced all resources needed for this event including a video which explains how to assemble the Helyco.
