It's a sign!
17 students took part in British Sign Language lessons for three intense sessions of two hours after school on Friday recently.
The lessons were very active, carried out with very little actual speaking and by the end we have a range of students from Year 7 up to Year 13 who have learned a new skill and language.
The course was led by the Empowering Deaf Society who offered the sessions for free.
The students thoroughly enjoyed the sessions and can be spotted around the school showing off their new skill.
