Year 7 Do the Double!
The Harefield Academy Year 7 football team are Hillingdon Borough and Middlesex County champions 2012! Winning a double title in one season is an amazing achievement and they were also very close to a National Schools Final by making it to the semi-final!
The Hillingdon Borough results for the season are below with a team photo of the boys at the Final with their medals. The team won their league and then went on to win the semi-final and final.

As you can tell the Year 7 team has been very busy and played nearly a match every two weeks all season. They really have shown fantastic spirit, team effort and determination as well an abundance of skill.

Many of the boys in the team above also played in the English Schools national competition. This competition has 10 rounds and starts with over 600 schools entering. The Harefield Academy Year 7 football team made it to round 9 (semi-final)!! They played teams from all over the south of England and had to travel long distances to matches but stuck together throughout and played some truly stunning football.
