A Cold Bath Does the Trick!
Chelsea Carter (Year 9) and her arab horse, ‘Tim’ were in action again on 10 June at Caddington in Bedfordshire. This was Caddigton’s Showing show and Chelsea and Tim came first in the Ridden Arab class.
As this event was their final preparation for the Royal London International Show, Chelsea was pleased with the judge’s comments. Chelsea commented, “The judge particularly liked Tim’s trot and because of his outstanding movement, the judge was able to see that he was a dressage horse. Considering that Tim had endured a cold bath in cold weather the night before his performance, his achievement on event day was incredible. I am extremely proud of him.”
Chelsea and Tim are looking forward to their dressage competition which is taking place this Saturday on the 23 June at Patchetts and then again on the 15 of July at Bury Farm for the Summer Dressage Championship qualifier.
We wish them both the very best of luck!
