Ex-student Zak Zilesnick now pop star Zak Abel releases his new single!

Ex-student and Table Tennis guru Zak Zilesnick is now a pop star!

When Zak Abel was at The Harefield Academy in 2007/8/9 he was a Table Tennis superstar – England No. 1 U15, U16 and U17, top 10 in Europe and top 50 in the world! Also extremely intelligent he sat all his GCSE’s a year early and gained 9 A/A*’s, he then moved to France to compete for a professional men’s table tennis team to decide if his future was to be in table tennis.

He came back and told us that he wanted to be a pop star! Many said he was mad but with a record contract, 2 EP’s released, BBC 1xtra top 20 for 2015, music video’s and now his latest single ‘Everybody Needs Love’ being the theme for the new Tesco advert – he is doing well!

Zak’s new music video (below) stars our very own Head Table Tennis Coach, Eli Baraty. Eli discovered and nurtured Zak’s talents and over the years has been a real mentor for Zak. The video is quite phenomenal, showing Zak’s ability to dance, sing and play table tennis at the same time. He certainly still has his table tennis talent as the music video was shot in one take!

Huge congratulations to Zak, everyone at The Harefield Academy are amazed by your talents, love your music and are very proud of you. Bring on the O2!
