Jeans for Genes Day 2009

In support of Jeans for Genes Day 2009 students and staff can pay to wear their jeans (and shoes of their choice) for the day on Friday 2nd October.

Students pay £1
Staff pay £2

Jeans for Genes is the national children's charity that holds Jeans for Genes Day. Wear your jeans, make a donation and help children with genetic disorders. Genetic disorders only affect one in 33 children born in the UK, but genes affect us all. The charity works to increase awareness and understanding of the differences our genes create.

Pay your pound, wear your jeans and make a difference. We have 856 students at The Academy, if every student paid £1 and every member of staff paid £2 we'd be able to raise over £1100 for the charity!
