Over 450 guests filled the Sports Hall of The Harefield Academy for the fourth Presentation Evening since The Academy opened.
Lynn Gadd, Principal of The Harefield Academy said, “The Presentation Evening gives us a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the achievements of all our students. Awards were presented for all of the attributes we value which range from moral and ethical behaviour to academic achievement.”
All of the 16 major award winners received a personal cheque from each of the Sponsors and a trophy. Throughout the evening’s programme, students entertained the huge audience with music, gymnastics and British Sign Language.
The Guest of Honour, Malky Mackay, the Manager of Watford Football Club, gave a passionate address about the Club’s and the Academy’s vision for excellence. Ryan Lester, Head Boy, gave the Vote of Thanks.
