Basketball Academy
The Harefield Academy in association with London United Basketball Club has set up the Institute of Basketball Excellence in order to provide talented young basketball athletes with a good academic education alongside the opportunity to improve their basketball skills and their physical development to a level to which they could compete at a national and international level.
Students can choose from a wide range of academic and vocational courses.
You will get:

- 12 hours of basketball training per week
- 5 hours fitness training per week
- Lifestyle mentoring
- Elite athlete education
- Chance to play U18 National League Competition at Premier or Conference level
- Opportunity to play with London United- Harefield Academy Men's Division Two team
The Institute is staffed by 3 dedicated England Basketball qualified coaches
London United Basketball Club have an excellent record of developing young basketball talent having produced several junior international players in recent years.
In order to provide the best possible environment in which to nurture young sport talent, The Harefield Academy has committed itself to providing its own state-of-the-art boarding house on-site. From July 2011 the accommodation will be available with 50 boarding places for students staffed by experienced personnel to provide full pastoral care.
