Important
Although every effort is made to provide up to date accurate information about public transport to and from The Harefield Academy, services provided by operators may change or vary over time and this page can only act as a guide.

Every 20 minutes approx.
Uxbridge - Denham - Harefield - Northwood - Ruislip - Northwood - Harefield - Denham – Uxbridge
Bus Service U9
Uxbridge - Harefield (via Swakeleys Road) – Uxbridge.
Bus Service 282 via Eastcote and change at Mount Vernon 331 Bus to The Academy.
Hertfordshire
R21, E21, E21B – How the system works!
All Students will require either a Bus Pass, Hertfordshire SaverCard for half fare or be liable for full fare.
Note
VERY IMPORTANT - Hertfordshire Saver Card costs £10 for 4 years (as March 2012), sa from August 2012 it will go up to £20 a year. Any child aged 10 and over can apply.
If a student is issued with an E ticket this cannot be used on the R21 public route. The student will have to pay full fare or half fare with a Hertfordshire Saver Card. So if a student on an E ticket stays for an after school club and the R21 is used to get home then payment will be required.
Hertfordshire Tickets
1. Ring Children School & Families dept , admission and transport team 01438737500.
Children School and Families Department also deal with assisted places
2. A form will be issued by Children School & Families Dept that needs to be promptly returned.
Renewal forms are also initially sent out by them.
3. Tickets will then be issued by The Passenger Transport Unit, county hall, Hertford. 01992 556765

Note
When tickets for any Hertfordshire 'E' route are issued by the ticketing team the ticket shows the boarding point, and a covering letter (to which the ticket is attached) gives the boarding time at the allocated stop.
Mill End Route - When ticket issuing starts the E21B will be filled first, other students will be issued with R21 Tickets.
No student issued with an 'E' route ticket gets issued with a ticket for any other service.
Tickets are issued to entitled students on a first come, first served basis, irrespective of whether the students are new or not.
