Transfers from Year 6
We are very aware of the need to ensure that students new to The Academy settle into their environment very quickly and that their learning moves on as rapidly as possible.
Within Harefield village the Infant and Junior Schools will work with The Academy as a family of schools. Knowledge of the individual students and sharing of curriculum developments will ensure that there is continuity of education and good practice.
Pupils who attend all of our main feeder schools are visited before they join The Academy.
The Academy building is a community resource and, increasingly, young people are invited and encouraged to feel that The Academy belongs to them. This will be encouraged through membership of the community programme and visits to The Academy during the day with their Primary School class.
