School is open as normal today - Thursday 1 March
There has been light snow over night in Harefield but school is well accessible and no further snow is currently forecast for today. However it is bitterly cold so students are reminded to wrap up very warm. It is recommended students wear winter boots to school and change to school shoes on arrival. Late marks will not be recorded today if lateness is caused by delays in public transport due to the weather. Equally we are aware that those walking to school should ensure they do so in a steady and safe manner which may add a short amount of extra time to their journey. Breaks will be taken indoors all day to ensure students are not exposed to the elements for long periods of time. Parents will be advised of any changes over the next couple of days by In-Touch and website messages. We will continue to keep a close eye on the situation which remains changeable in the forecasts.
Presentation Evening will proceed as planned this evening. Any changes to other after school activities will be communicated to parents and carers later in the day.
Thank you as always for your support.
