GCSE Results 2018

We are delighted to congratulate our Year 11 students today on their fantastic exam successes. Their hard work has resulted in notable improvements in outcomes.  The proportion of students achieving success has improved in many subjects including a 12% rise in the Science pass rate and 9% in Maths.  We have seen an improving trend over the last two years in our key headline measures with an increase in the proportion of students achieving their targets, those achieving a standard pass in Maths and English and our overall Progress 8 score.  We are very proud of the hard work that our students put in to achieving such great outcomes and look forward to welcoming many back into the Sixth Form to continue their studies.

Some of our wonderful individual success stories include Holly Cowdry (pictured below) achieving six Grade 9s, 2 A*s, one Distinction* and two grade 8s.  This is a phenomenal achievement by any standard!

Anna Hook achieved three grade 9s, one A*, five grade 8s, a distinction and a grade 6.
