Year 11 Results Day

After an unprecedented year for our students,  we were pleased to congratulate our Year 11’s as they received their GCSE, BTEC and NCFE results today.    Their hard work and dedication has yielded an impressive  set of exam results across the board.  With 45% of students achieving a Grade 5 or better in both Maths and English, more students than ever before achieving the Ebacc, and our Progress 8 score at national standard (0), our students continue to go from strength to strength.  We are proud to be at or better than the expected standard of progress and achievement across all key measures.

Whilst all of our students should feel rightly proud of their achievements, some individual performances of note include Fairooz Jahan who achieved 10 grade 9’s and 1 grade 8; Marie Cordingley with 7 grade 9’s and 4 Grade 8’s;  Raahim Agha who achieved 1 grade 9, 1 grade 8, 6 grade 7’s and 2 6’s;  Holly Allday with 3 grade 8’s, an A*, a Level 2 Distinction*, 3 grade 7’s and a 6; Orpheas Nikopoulos achieving  4 grade 8’s, 2 grade 7’s, 2 6’s and a Level 2 distinction; Sophie Warren with 4 grade 8’s and 4 grade 7’s and Sam Pryor with 1 grade 8, 6 grade 7s and 2 6’s.

We look forward to seeing many of our Year 11 students as they join our thriving and exceptionally successful Sixth form, and wish all those leaving us for college and apprenticeships the very best of luck in their onward journeys.  If any students have not yet registered for Sixth form,  they can contact Mrs Gardner gemma.Gardner@theharefieldacademy.org or can come in and sign up from the 1st September 2021.  An application form can be found here.
