Homework Timetable September 2020

Homework develops student learning, improves achievement and embeds students’ study skills and as such is an integral part of the curriculum.

Homework enables students to:

  • Consolidate and extend work covered in class or prepare for new learning activities.
  • Access resources not available in the classroom.
  • Develop research skills.
  • Have an opportunity for independent work.
  • Show progress and understanding.
  • Provide feedback in the evaluation of teaching.
  • To enhance students study skills, e.g. planning, time management and self-discipline.

We are delighted to now be in partnership with Show My Homework - an application that allows us to manage homework more effectively and efficiently. All teachers set homework for their students in the application and both students and parents can access this information online. Please click the link above to be taken to our homework homepage, where you will see the whole school homework calendar. You can easily filter through to find your classes and the homework that has been set.
